As a leading inner-city VAFA club, Prahran has entered an exciting new era following the opening of our state-of-the-art facilities at Toorak Park in 2025. Our focus is clear: to develop the next generation of senior footballers by providing young players with early exposure to senior football in a high-performance, supportive environment.
With a proud history of producing AFL and AFLW talent, alongside some of the Club’s most decorated long-serving players, Prahran offers a pathway where young footballers can grow, compete, and become part of a strong football community with a rich tradition of success.

Not every young player aims for the AFL, but at Prahran, we fast-track youth into senior football.
Many of our best players stepped up at just 16–17 years old, learning alongside experienced teammates and growing into leaders themselves.
Our Club is proud to have nurtured players who have become 100+ and 200+ game senior footballers, building decorated VAFA careers with premierships, leadership honours, and lifelong Club connections.

A 140-YEAR RICH HISTORY
PFC boasts a proud 140-year history at Toorak Park, making it one of Victoria’s oldest football clubs.
Our history includes producing and nurturing AFL and AFLW stars and well-known figures such as Brian Taylor, Kevin Sheedy, Jim Stynes, Max and Hunter Holmes, and Sophie and Abbie McKay, while also celebrating Club Legends including Jack Matherson, James Musster and Tim Maya, who each built remarkable careers of more than 200 games in the Two Blues jumper.
This legacy highlights PFC's AFL impact: nurturing talent, building community, and celebrating success.
