Vale Graham Coningsby and Ray Sleeth
Prahran Assumption Football Club lost two of its finest contributors last week in 1951 premiership player Graham Coningsby and former general manager Ray Sleeth.
Following his playing days at Prahran Coningsby joined the board of the Melbourne Football Club and continued to assist his old club. He was influential in the recruitment of the late Jim Stynes in 1986 and the appointment of 1987 premiership captain and coach Greg Hutchison.
Sleeth, a former VFL grand final umpire, was a dedicated general manager of Prahran Amateur Football Club from 2001-2004.
The club extends deepest sympathy to the Coningsby and Sleeth families.
