CAULFIELD Saturday March 14, 2026, rail 9m, track good 4
RACE 1: FOUJITA SAN 1, Xtra Rush 2, Stylish Secret 3, Furious 4
RACE 2: OH TOO GOOD 1, Photograph 2, Soft Love 3, Gentle Steel 4
RACE 3: ATHANATOS 1, Harry's Yacht 2, Veight 3, Al Duca 4
RACE 4: MERRIGOLD 1, Bossy Benita 2, Teine Auleilei 3, Yum 4
RACE 5: HIGH ON THE HILL 1, Purple Streak 2, Rohesia 3, Wintery 4
RACE 6: SIR ATLAS 1, Nic's Choice 2, Brung King 3, Sakakibara 4
RACE 7: MISS CHANEL 1, Phillip Island 2, Big Wig 3, Knurl 4
Tricky Quaddie opener. On exposed form Sydney visitor's Gr 2 Reisling Stakes third is by the far the best. But she's on seven day back-up and first time the Melbourne way. First starter Phillip Island has trialled well while Big Wig was good at Ballarat behind Golden Slipper hopeful Medicinal.
RACE 8: BUCKAROO 1, Birdman 2, Light Infantryman 3, Chief Little Rock 4
Good luck here with the three main hopes all owned in similar interests and all in-form.
RACE 9: DIFFERENT GRAVY 1, Salty Pearl 2, Veyepee 3, Star Of Omaha 4
Different Gravy scored the softests of wins here in November before a break. He's on a Queensland Derby path so not fully wound up and has a horror draw but he might be well above average. Safer way to go would be the filly Salty Pearl, blinkers back on, while if it's an on pacers race emerging Veyepee comes into contention,
RACE 10: JIGSAW 1, Ndola 2, She's Bulletproof 3, Perilous Fighter 4
Despite the steadier of 61kg Jigsaw is the one to beat. A class act racing in career best form and potent fresh. Ndola has found his niche as a run-on sprinter.
BEST BETS: Sir Atlas, Jigsaw. VALUE: Merrigold.
