FLEMINGTON Thursday, November 5, 2026, 6m, good 4 (showers forecast)

RACE 1: CHIRINGITA 1, She's Got The Cash 2, Auumtn Slide 3, Jenny You Think 4

RACE 2: YOURE NOT THE KING 1, Alabama Fox 2, Chakado 3, Spirit Of Wealth 4

RACE 3: JUST FOLK 1, Merrigold 2, Tavi Time 3, Feroce 4

RACE 4:  SASS APPEAL 1, Polymnia 2, Bella Verone 3, The Volta 4

RACE 5: FIORENOT 1, Perisher 2, Nobler 3, Roulette King 4

RACE 6: ROSA AOTEAROA 1, Sulek 2, Lofty Thoughts 3, Bel Meyzaan 4

Typically tough Country Final. If the track races as it did on Cup day, leaning to on pacers or inside runners, Rosa Aotearoa has the right racing style. If swoopers are in vogue Sulek and Lofty Thoughts.

RACE 7: SEQUINNED 1, Nishioka 2, Calamari Ring 3, Scinitlllation 4

Hard to past past Sequinned, last start Caulfield winner and the Waller-McDonald combination. For insurance Nishioka ran a terrific race down the straight on Cox Plate day while Calamari Ring is a straight winner in the wet.

RACE 8: PROXIMA DEA 1, De Armas 3, Quick Finish 3, Icelady 4

Undefeated Sydney filly Proxima Dea brings the right form as she easily handled Saturday's Derby winner Stormy Marco in the Champion Stakes. Classy and tough enough to overcome a wide draw. In contrast main rival Wakeful winner De Armas draws the rails.

RACE 9: STOKKE 1, Rey Magnerio 2, Ice Kool 3, Bev's Nine 4

Stokke is a track specialist and won this race last year. the eight draw in a field of 12 is fine.  Doesn't want too much rain. Rey Magnerio has won over Cup week for the past two years. Inside draw not the place to be this week but will be charging late.

BEST BETS. Sass Appal, Fiorenot. VALUE: Stokke
