CAULFIELD APRIL 9, true, track good.

RACE 2: PLAYOFFS 1, Deepstrike 2, Commander Harry 3, Agneilli 4

RACE 3: OCEAN'S JEN 1, Intellective 2, Comica 3, Splendiforous 4

RACE 4: YOWIE 1, Cannonball 2, Port Albert 3, Sunzou 4

RACE 5: LULI DARLING 1, Amboone 2, Embeller 3, Hypersonic 4

RACE 6: MAGIC MAX 1, Mynumerono 2, Scissor Step 3, New York Baby 4

Tough opener to the Quaddie. Adelaide visitor Magic Max is a winner here, won impressively resuming and way down in the weights after the claim. Mynumerouno has won five of six so respect, first-uppers Scissor Step and New York Baby have claims.

RACE 7: BELLE SAVOIR 1, Adele Armour 2, Arktika 3, Sonora 4

Could be a big day for emerging Flemington trainer Nick Ryan, he saddles the undefeated Belle Savoir which looked good winning at Sandown over Adele Armour, fitter now and with blinkers.

RACE 8: HOSIER 1, Zaratite 2, Aintnodeeldun 3, Think 'N' Fly 4

Query race with first-uppers Hosier and former WA galloper Zaratite the key runners. Holsier looked a star in the making on soft tracks last winter before failing badly on firm ground.

RACE 9: PAPERBOY 1, Old Flame 2, Makram 3, Beehunter 4

Paperboy gets a lot of ticks, he loves Caulfield 1400m and is racing in career best form. Dangers are import Old Flame, which we saw debut with a narrow Sandown win and Makram, the recent Hayes yard addition from the UK.

BE|ST BETS: Ocean's Jen, Paperboy. VALUE: Magic Max.
