Three Two Blues Named in VAFA Division 1 2019 Team of the Year

Prahran Assumption has three representatives in the VAFA Division 1 2019 Team Of The Year.

Brett Dickinson was named in the first ruck, Luke Kerr on a half back flank and regular Team of The Year member James Musster on the interchange bench.

Dickinson pipped Musster by one vote to win the club's Basil Cleary Medal this year and was clearly the premier ruckman in the competition.

Musster, a dual competition best and fairest winner had another stellar season despite being heavily tagged in some games.

Kerr's intercept marking was a highlight of his work in defence where his courageous attack on the ball won him many plaudits.

Preston Bullants premiership coach George Wakim was named coach of the year.
