PAFC Newsletter 6, 2021

ON SATURDAY we welcome former Collingwood captain, Essendon and South Melbourne coach Des Tuddenham as guest speaker for our first home game luncheon for the season.

"Tuddy'' is always forthright in his views which should make for an interesting prelude to our clash v Peninsula.

WHAT a rousing come-from-behind win against Oakleigh last week.

A remarkable second half transformation to turn a 27 point deficit into a two point win.

That slender win keeps the Two Blues in third place which will need to be defended at Toorak Park on Saturday v Peninsula.

With injuries mounting it will be no easy task and only our best will be enough to deliver four more points.

The Reserves was almost a carbon copy managing to keep Oakleigh goalless for the second half but coming up two points short.

BREAST CANCER  NETWORK SUPPORT DAY

ON SATURDAY we join the VAFA to raise awareness and some funds to support Breast Cancer Network Australia (BCNA) .

Their work supports more than 20,000 Australian women and men diagnosed with breast cancer each year, some of which are of course directly or indirectly linked to our PAFC community.

As part of the promotion players in all three of our men’s teams will wear pink socks.

If you wish to donate, please click on the link below – every little bit counts! Various other opportunities to show your support will be available on the day.
