Josh Ancrum Playing Joint Reserves Coach 2013

Joshua Ancrum a member of Prahran Assumption's unbeaten 2011 premiership team and last year's grand final team (pictured front row third from right) has been appointed playing joint Reserves coach for 2013.

A hard running wingman and on-baller,  Ancrum has played 36 senior games in his two seasons with theTwo Blues.

His appointment does not preclude him from senior selection.

Ancrum "Cookie" as he is known around the club, will share duties with non playing co coach Neil Wallmeyer, a life member and premiership player.

Wallmeyer has a long and passionate history with the club starting with his playing days at Southbank where he logged 202 senior games played more than 240 club games and coached a Reserves premiership.

More recently he served as general manager for six years in three stints starting in 2000.

Coach Ash Mills was especially keen to gain Wallmeyer's services after working with him as senior club runner during 2012.

Also active as a netball administrator, Wallmeyer has arranged his hectic schedule to accommodate the demands of senior coaching.

Wallmeyer replaces Ange Sammartino who did not re-apply because of work committments.

Furthermore, Brett Lewis will be new Club XVIII coach for 2013.
