Jordan Bates Joins Mildura Connection at Two Blues
Jordan Bates – hailing from Mildura, Batesy has pace to burn and is known for his skill, evasiveness and competitiveness, and we are lucky to have him in the famous Two Blues colours in season 2017.
A great friend of Luke Kerr and Ben Leske, Batesy moved to Melbourne in late last year; currently living in the Docklands, he is enjoying settling into his new home and being shown the town by Big Dog and Kerrbox! Thanks to the efforts of our recruiting manager Anthony Jackson, Jordan is on the look out for permanent employment in Melbourne.
JB lived on the Gold Coast in 2011-2012 where he played for Currumbin FC in Division One, losing two Grand Finals in a row before moving back home to Mildura and enjoying a break out year in 2013, playing excellent footy and winning that elusive premiership.
A creative player who can cause havoc up forward (kicked 25 goals from 21 games for home club Imperials in 2014) or provide run and carry off half back (where he often plied his trade in 2016 at Ganmain Grong Grong Matong FC in the Riverina FL), he is focused on taking his footy up another level, entrenching himself at PAFC and having a major impact on the field in 2017. Welcome JB!
