If you’re looking for a new footballing home, look no further than the Prahran Assumption Football Club! Competing in Australia’s largest amateur football competition the VAFA (Division 1), Prahran Assumption fields three Senior Football teams and an all-female Netball team and has 18 junior teams.

The PAFC prides itself on ‘Passionate Community Participation’ and all embracing club culture. 

We are a country football club, located in the heart of Melbourne (Toorak Park, Armadale), with players from all over Australia, including Sale, Mildura, Albury/Wodonga, Robinvale, Kilmore, Mansfield, Sunbury, Ballarat, Echuca and many more. The club also has a strong affiliation with the West London Wildcats, based in the UK.

Since the merger of Prahran Football Club (est 1886) and the famous football nursery Assumption College in 2011, the club has competed in three Grand Finals , twice gaining promotion and and two premierships: 2011 (Division 3 Seniors) and 2014 (Division 1 Reserves) - a successful trend that with your help we wish to continue.

Based at Toorak Park, Orrong Rd Armadale, the premier facility in the VAFA, we not only pride ourselves with our endeavour and success on field and respect for our rivals, but we equally like to enjoy ourselves off it! 

With a plethora of both player and committee driven functions, including a Players Golf Day, Mystery Bus Tour & Cocktail Night, you will soon be immersed in what is more of a family and a place to call home, rather than just a football club. 

The Prahran Assumption Football Club also has a strong Welfare Department that supports players in finding employment and housing needs.
