Introducing 2017 PAFC Senior Assistant Coach, Luke Reynolds
Prahran Assumption is proud to welcome Luke Reynolds as our new Senior Assistant Coach for Season 2017.
Luke comes to us from Therry Penola FC where he was a starting midfielder in Therry’s 2013 senior premiership, Under 19s Captain and 200-game player as a hard at it mid who often played as a tagger.
Having been a member of Therry’s committee as well as a member of their on-field team, Luke won the admiration from teammates and supporters for his no-frills, ferocious, team-first approach to the game. Lukey is the Head of Health and Physical Education at Penola Catholic College at Broadmeadows and has coached many school teams in partnership with Millsy over the last 7 years.
He decided to hang up the boots at the end of the 2015 season in spite of winning Therry’s Reserves best and fairest and playing a handful of games in Premier C in Season 2015.
Having lived in London in the mid-2000’s and played against us in 2012 and 2014, he is familiar with several of our lads and keen to get his teeth into a coaching in a new environment with the view of one day coaching a senior team of his own.
