From Mt Pleasant to Toorak Park for Joey Whiting

Joey Whiting – ​Joey has played his football at Mount Pleasant Football Club where he ran in the top 5 of the senior best and fairest in 2015 and his Dad Phil is the President for 2017.

Having moved to Melbourne for work and to be closer to his partner, he is a fleet of foot wingman who attacks the footy hard in spite of his small frame and at just 21 years of age, his best football is still to come.

Just last week Joey had a lingering knee injury fixed which will sideline him for a period of time, however he hopes to be set to take to the field within the first 6 weeks of Season 2017 and use his time off the track to get stronger and return bigger and better than ever.

Joey will impress all with his energy and eagerness and we are thrilled to have him in the famous Two Blues colours
