Finals Come a Week Early for Two Blues

The VAFA Division 1 finals series starts a week early for Prahran Assumption on Saturday.

The final home and away game of the season holds high stakes as the Two Blues aim at their third successive finals appearance.

A gritty win over Ormond last week has given the Two Blues a lifeline.

Going into the last round before the finals fifth placed Prahran Assumption is locked on 40 points with fourth placed Whitefriars who hold a healthy percentage advantage of 13 per cent.

So the scenario is twofold- Prahran Assumption must defeat in-form Old Geelong at Como Park and rely on top team Hampton Rovers to defeat Whitefriars.
