Ed Langdon Joins Brother Tom as AFL Listed Player

Congratulations to new Fremantle player Ed Langdon who joins older brother Tom as AFL draftees to play with Prahran Junior Football Club.

Ed, 18, was pick No. 54 in the 2014 AFL National Draft held on November 27 on the Gold Coast.

Injuries- an AC joint sprain followed by a torn finger tendon- restricted Ed to just five games of football for his school Melbourne Grammar and Sandringham Dragons but Fremantle scouts saw enough of the teenager described as a 'lightning quick midfielder who can run all day'.

Tom Langdon, pick No 65 by Collingwood in the 2013 Draft was an AFL Rising Star nomination for Round 7 this year.

Ed and Tom played junior football with Prahran for several seasons and join Xavier Richards (Sydney) and the recently de-listed Tom Temay (Carlton) from last year's draft as recent Two Blue draftees.
