Dale Tapping Joins Brisbane as Assistant Coach

Congratulations to former dual premiership player and our Community Sport Program (CSP) manager Dale Tapping on his appointment as assistant coach at Brisbane.

Tapping, 51, played in the 1987 VFA premiership and 1991 VFA Reserves premiership teams and has managed our CSP program since 2008.

After a premiership in 2011 with Sandringham Dragons in the TAC Cup, Tapping joined Collingwood and has coached the Magpies' VFL team and was this year named VFL coach of the year.

We wish Dale and family all the best for an exciting next phase of his career.

Interesting to note in that 1991 Prahran premiership team coach was Collingwood National head of recruiting Derek Hine, AFL Football operations manager Mark Evans was a teammate and a 1992 Prahran VFA teammate was David Noble, the newly appointed Brisbane Chief Executive!.
