Ash Lever new Prahran Assistant Coach

PRAHRAN’s new assistant coach for 2024 Ash Lever comes with an extensive and impressive coaching CV.

Ash (pictured right with new senior coach Craige Milward) coached Ormond, a rival of Prahran this season, from 2015-2019 including a Division 1 premiership in 2018.

In 2020-21 he coached another of Prahran’s recent rival VAFA clubs Oakleigh and in 2022 was assistant coach at East Brighton.

So Ash’s first hand knowledge of VAFA Division 1 football will be invaluable as he teams with new head coach Craige Milward from Frankston VFL and coaching and performance manager Greg Hutchison, 1987 VFA Prahran premiership coach, 2024 VAFA representative team coach and last year coach of A Grade club Old Brighton.

As a unit the Two Blues have one of the best coaching panels in the competition with Jack Matherson remaining as Reserves playing coach.

Ironically, our VAFA season kicks off on April 13 v Ormond away.
