RACE 7: EPIMELES 1, Sergeant Major 2, Red Sea 3, Public Attention 4
Four chances. Epimeles is undefeated and has trialled well for this first-up run, Public Attention impressed with a Caulfield debut win while NZ pair Red Sea and Sergeant Major have Group form back home and have trialled well.
RACE 8: PERICLES 1, Attrition 2, Munhamek 3, Showmanship 4
Pericles is marked hard as something of a pretender but he's very Group 1 competitive without winning. His Lawrence Stakes third to Gentleman Roy and Pinstriped is the right form. Back to a set weights and penalties he's graded to win.
RACE 9: ESTRIELLA 1, I Wish I win 2, Lady Of Camelot 3, Mornington Glory 4
Hot edition of the Moir. Estriella, extra good fresh, and Lady Of Camelot will be the speed factors, I Wish I Win the swooper.
RACE 10: HOME RULE 1, Suparazi 2, Verdad 3, Piastri 4
Tricky closer, negatives about well fancied Verdad- rails draw and 1200m- and Piastri- all wins on soft ground. Home Rule was impressive last start here in similar grade while Suparazi was luckless in a similar race a fortnight ago.
BEST BETS: Pericles, Arkansaw Kid. VALUE: Estriella
