Patrick Ribbands wins Prahran Best And Fairest

KEY defender Patrick Ribbands is Prahran’s 2025 Basil Cleary Medal Best And Fairest winner. 

A product of the Prahran Juniors and a 2024 premiership player, Ribbands won the vote count held on Friday night September 19 held at the Toorak Park pavilion.

Ribbands played 94 games for the Two Blues juniors and has played 58 senior games.

As the best and fairest winner Patrick also receives the Sir Rupert Steele Memorial perpetual trophy.

He is the son of past Prahran Juniors president and current Board member John Ribbands.

Joint runners-up were mid-fielder Mackenzie Mayne and first season player Ryan Smyth.

President Fab Maya was awarded the Neale Daniher Most Courageous Medal while Women’s team manager for the first time Jonica Rooke was voted Cliff Peel Memorial Best Club Person.
